On 9 May 1945, after nearly six years of war, nazi Germany signed an unconditional surrender to the Soviet forces, which had raised the red flag on the Reichstag a few days earlier. The immense bloodbath of World War II ended with the defeat of the Nazi-Fascist bloc. The shameless historical revisionism of those who would like to equate Nazism and Communism, not only does not make any sense, but cannot erase the decisive contribution to the victory over Nazi-Fascist imperialism made by the Soviet Union, led by Stalin and the Communist Party.
With 25 million victims, the USSR was the country that suffered the greatest number of losses during the conflict.
The enormous sacrifice of the Soviet people for freedom and peace cannot be forgotten.
THANK YOU RED ARMY!
